Here are a few simple ways to protect yourself while using the platform:
Never agree to buy or sell outside of Mindu—this removes any protection and puts your money at risk.
If someone asks you to complete a transaction off-platform, decline, and report them.
Be cautious of too-good-to-be-true deals or sellers pressuring you to pay quickly.
If a buyer insists on alternative payment methods (cash apps, gift cards, etc.), that's a red flag.
Review photos and descriptions carefully—if something seems inconsistent, message the seller questions before purchasing.
Check the seller’s profile, ratings, and past transactions to assess credibility.
Mindu processes all payments securely through Stripe—you should never share bank details, passwords, or personal data with another user.
If you receive a request for sensitive information, report it immediately.
If you come across a listing, message, or user that seems fraudulent, contact Mindu Support through the chat function or through our email.
