At Mindu, we know that sometimes waiting for shipping just isn’t ideal—whether it’s a last-minute gift, a bulky item, or simply something you’d rather receive today. That’s why some sellers offer a local courier option for faster, door-to-door delivery.
While Mindu doesn’t directly integrate with third-party courier services such as Roadie, Metrobi, or Uber Connect, some sellers may use them manually to coordinate local deliveries in your area.
Note: These services are for informational purposes only. Mindu is not affiliated with any third-party delivery providers and cannot guarantee pricing, availability, or service quality.
What is the local courier option?
Local courier is a delivery method where your item is brought directly to your door by a third-party courier—sometimes the same day!
It’s a great option when:
- You want to receive your item faster
- You’re buying something bulky or delicate
- You’d prefer not to meet in person or wait for traditional shipping
How do I know if a seller offers local delivery?
If a seller offers local courier as an option, it will be listed under the delivery methods on the item page. If you don’t see it but prefer this option, feel free to message the seller directly to ask if it’s available.
Can I check the delivery cost before purchasing?
Yes! If you’re interested in the local courier option but haven’t completed your purchase yet, you can message the seller with your exact location. Courier prices vary based on distance, and there might be a discount if you’re nearby. The seller can then confirm the delivery cost and, if needed, update the listing price before you check out.
How does local courier delivery work?
Once you select local delivery at checkout and payment is confirmed, here’s what typically happens:
- The seller confirms details with you – They’ll message you to confirm your delivery address and coordinate a good drop-off time.
- They book a courier – The seller will use a delivery app (like Roadie or Uber Connect) to arrange for the item to be picked up and dropped off at your address.
- You receive tracking info (if available) – Some courier services provide a live tracking link. If so, the seller will share it with you through Mindu messages.
- You confirm delivery on Mindu – Once the item arrives, you’ll have 3 days to confirm delivery. If everything looks good, mark the item as received to complete the transaction. Then, both you and the seller will be prompted to leave a review.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Local courier is arranged and managed by the seller – They’ll handle booking and coordinating everything.
- Delivery fees are paid by the buyer – It will show as a line item in the payment screen.
- These deliveries are handled by third-party services – Any issues or delays should be reported directly to the seller, who can follow up with the courier.
- Be sure your delivery details are accurate – Double-check your address so the item gets to you safely.
Local courier offers a flexible and speedy way to receive your item—perfect for when you want things to arrive quickly and with minimal effort. Just check in with your seller to align on the details, and you’ll be all set.
