How does shipping work for sellers?
Sellers handle shipping directly. Here’s how to keep it smooth, safe, and buyer-friendly!

While Mindu doesn’t provide shipping labels or manage shipments directly, we’ve made it easy for you to ship with confidence and care.
Follow these best practices:
Estimate Shipping Costs in Advance – Before listing your item, check shipping rates using your preferred courier. This helps you price your item accurately and avoid surprises at checkout. Buyers cover all shipping and delivery fees—listing is always free for sellers. Always confirm the final shipping cost after listing to ensure accuracy. Pack Items Securely – Use appropriate packaging based on the item. Boxes work best for fragile items, and poly mailers are great for clothing. Seal everything with strong tape to avoid damage in transit.
Ship Within 3 Business Days – Once your item sells, you are required to ship it within 3 business days using the courier of your choice. Not shipping or updating the order within 10 days may result in automatic cancellation.
Include Tracking & Updates – Always choose a delivery option that includes tracking to ensure proof of delivery. This is encouraged to improve communication, transparency, and trust amongst buyers and sellers, leading to a better overall experience and rating. After shipping, send the tracking number to the buyer through Mindu messages.
Consider extra protection – Some couriers offer insurance for lost or damaged items. When shipping, consider this additional protection.
Get Paid after Delivery – Funds are held in escrow and released once the buyer confirms they’ve received the item—or automatically 14 days after purchase. After that, your payout will be sent to your connected Stripe account and typically appears within 1 to 3 business days depending on your bank. For first-time sellers, Stripe may take 7 to 14 days to process the initial payout.
Close out with Reviews – We encourage both buyers and sellers to leave a review after each transaction. It helps build trust and strengthen the community!
